Title: Labor Employment Paralegal Type: Full time Location: Rosemont, IL / North suburbs A leading national food distribution company headquartered in the north Chicago suburbs is currently seeking a full time Litigation Paralegal to assist with its labor and employment matters for over 25,000 of its employees in over 60 locations nationwide. Job Requirements

Requirements for the position: - At least three years of litigation experience in a paralegal capacity; - Bachelor or Associate degree in Paralegal from an ABA Approved program, or equivalent experience required; - Strong legal analysis skills, including the ability to read, interpret and apply statutory and legal requirements to legal and business matters; - Extensive experience with administrative agencies (e.g., EEOC, OSHA, DOL, and state equivalents); - High aptitude for technology management and solutions, including routine use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, One Note/Drive) Responsibilities include: • Provide human resources, benefits, labor relations support at the direction of the labor, employment and litigation team. • Work closely with outside law firms to protect the interests of the company in litigation, investigations, and compliance efforts (e.g., OSHA, EEOC, and DOL). • Routinely coordinate document collections, including gather, review and organize responsive documents requested in discovery or by subpoenas, administrative requests, and other non-litigation matters under the supervision of an attorney. • Establish, maintain, and update recordkeeping databases and non-electronic files. • Serve as a liaison between outside counsel and supervising attorney in managing litigation portfolio, including e-Discovery. • Prepare reports and presentations, with the assistance of supervising attorney, when needed. • Prioritize assignments and work efficiently to meet deadlines. • Perform other duties as may be assigned under the direction of in-house attorneys located at headquarters in Rosemont, IL and within regions across the U.S.
